“I don’t think so.” His teeth scraped along her throat, and when he lifted his head, she could see his wolf. “You know.”
She shook her head, but he was already lowering his mouth to hers. As his mouth brushed over hers, she heard Austin saying something but not what it was. As soon as Reid kissed her, she knew as surely as she was standing there that getting away now was going to be twice as hard. Then his tongue slid between her lips, and she figured she’d be lucky if she ever got away.

Everything is not what it seems though and Jodie and Reid need to come together in order to have any type of future life. When Jodie finally gives in she finds the one thing she has always been missing, love.
I was disappointed in this one. Jodie was not warm at all and I found her continued obstinate behavior irritating. Reid was sweet and Jodie continually lashed out at him. Story was muddled with a bunch of other things and jumped all over. I'm a fan but this was not one of the better books of hers.

awesome series, kathi barton is a great writer
I wanted another Force book. It did not disappoint. I was wondering what happened to the boys C J saved. Can't wait for Randy.
Read the first book and got hooked on it. Now, I am still looking forward to other books in this series.
Another outstanding book in the force of nature series! Reid has meet his mate and she is a powerful sharpshooter/vamp- lots of magic and shifter romance - the force is with us again!
I just love all of the books Ms Barton writes. The stories are detailed and adventurous. The stories keep you guessing which all GOOD book should. I will continue to read all she writes.
Kathi has done it again! The Force family has grown again and I love the new additions. Kathi has such a great style of writing. This is, by far, my favorite series she has written.
This series has been great all the way through, do not skip the other books to get to this one. All of the family and other characters have enough to contribute to make it worth while knowing them throughout the series as it helps the understanding background of why they act the way they do. Complex enough but fun and romantic with intimacy. thank you Kathi for series. Can't wait for more.
